Our staff members are passionate about championing the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Together, we turn advocacy into action.
Adam Caar
Developer

Kimberly’s advocacy journey began in 2015 after attending a Families in Action retreat with The Arc of Larimer County, where she gained the tools and confidence to advocate for her three children with disabilities. The experience sparked a passion to empower other parents and help them find their voice. She also volunteers with Celebrate Recovery, supporting individuals and families facing anxiety, addiction, and other life challenges. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her three teenagers, painting, and reading.

Anais was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida, where she developed a love for the ocean, food, and dancing. After witnessing the challenges faced by family members with disabilities, she felt called to the helping profession. She earned degrees in Psychology and Occupational Therapy and has supported individuals with disabilities and their families across community settings, with a special passion for serving BIPOC communities. Outside of work, she enjoys salsa dancing, traveling, spending time with her family, and spoiling her cats.

Amity’s advocacy journey began at Colorado State University, where she earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a certificate in Disability and Neurodiversity. Through clinical, research, and community work supporting individuals with IDD, as well as roles with RAM Scholars and pediatric rare disease research at Children’s Hospital Colorado, she built a strong foundation in helping families navigate complex service systems. She is passionate about empowering families through education, advocacy, and strengths-based communication.

Laura has many years of administrative experience and is working towards a bookkeeping certification through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers! Laura feels fortunate to be able to assist the Arc of Larimer County with its administrative and accounting needs. When she’s not working, Laura enjoys bluegrass music festivals, camping, hiking, and fostering kittens for a local animal rescue!

Pat received a degree in Music Business from The University Of Northern Colorado. He brings to The Arc a strong desire to serve the community with compassion and support his team with enthusiasm.
When not at The Arc, Pat teaches drum lessons to people of all ages and enjoys hiking with his wife and daughter.

Nicole Rosendale is a lifelong Larimer County resident and advocate for individuals with diverse abilities. As a mother of two, one in Special Education and one in Gifted and Talented, she brings firsthand experience with the education system. She has 15 years of leadership experience in operations and program development and serves as Vice President and Co Founder of the International ATR X Foundation. She works to ensure individuals of all abilities are seen, heard, and supported.

Reese Klotz began his advocacy work at Colorado State University and earned a master’s degree in Communication Studies focused on autistic adults’ perspectives. He taught Public Speaking and mentored students before joining The Arc of Larimer County as a Peer Advocate. He uses his background in education and communication to support the community. Outside of work, Reese enjoys knitting, writing, playing the cello, volunteering at the library, learning Spanish, and cooking with his partner.

Marcus is a film student at Front Range Community College and a 2024–25 SARTAC Fellow whose self-advocacy project was hosted by The Arc of Larimer County. He has created original video content for The Arc and serves as Vice President of People First of Larimer County, a self-advocacy group for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this role, he helps advance state and federal policy change efforts recognized by Colorado legislators.

Annelise’s advocacy journey began in 2021 at Colorado State University’s Student Disability Center before she joined The Arc of Larimer County in 2023. She worked in special education and criminal justice disability advocacy, supporting clients in competency court. She now serves as Communications & Events Manager, sharing The Arc’s mission and elevating the impact of advocacy in our community. Outside of work, Annelise enjoys lifting weights, spending time with her dogs and fiancé, and making beeswax candles.

Josiah brings 15 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, including roles in direct support, program management in group homes, and serving as a case manager for Medicaid waivers. His work has given him a strong understanding of service systems, advocacy, and the supports that help individuals and families thrive. He is also a Certified Nursing Assistant and caregiver for his daughter Lily, who has Down syndrome, which fuels his passion for inclusion and advocacy.

Matthew moved to Colorado in 2014 and worked in property management, where he saw local housing challenges. During the pandemic, he joined a Fort Collins nonprofit to process Emergency Rental Assistance and support tenants facing eviction. He has four years of experience assisting renters and homeowners with state housing programs. Outside of work, he spends time with his daughter, walks his dog Kelso, plays video games, and practices guitar.
