Arc Larimer supports:

• Guardians and caregivers
• Individuals transitioning from school to adulthood
• Adults seeking employment, housing, and greater independence
Our advocacy is person centered. The goals and preferences of the person with IDD guide every step.
Individual Advocacy Services
Helping You Understand Your Rights and Access the Services You Need
Individual advocacy means working directly with a trained advocate who can:
• Help identify your goals
• Explain your rights
• Identify barriers to services
• Prepare for meetings
• Attend meetings when appropriate
• Support eligibility questions and appeals
We provide advocacy for individuals of all ages in Larimer County. Our services are free. We provide non-attorney advocacy and education. If legal representation is required, we will connect you with appropriate resources.

An advocacy specialist contacts you within 5 to 7 business days.

We schedule an intake meeting.

We work together to identify goals and next steps.
There is no cost for services and no limit to how long we can support you.
