• Housing Authority helps families move out of poverty and become free from public assistance with the following self-sufficiency programs

• Manages the non-subsidized affordable housing properties owned by Villages, Ltd. and the low-income senior apartments located in the historic Northern Hotel

• Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program – provides rental assistance for participants toward the cost of moderate housing in the private rental market

• Public Housing Program allows participants to live in moderately priced housing owned by the Housing Authority and subsidized by the federal government

• Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Program provides rooms for homeless individuals in Fort Collins

• Family Self-Sufficiency provides families with ongoing support services to help set personal goals and provide referrals to overcome barriers to success
